thanks. was not sure what it was supposed to be. the guy restoring the car wants to clean them to bare metal and clear it so it looks natural. nobody would probably see it, but if it looks decent, might go that route. If he is "restoring" your car and wants to go that route you better watch over everything he does because it is not proper. Ron

Wow, I did at least Blast mine and have a local Plater Tripple Plate them so they would come out with a real finish. Not polishing them gave a Satin look cost was minimal. And I used SS Srews
