elmor353 OP super stock E Joined: Jun 2013 Posts: 869 Keizer, Oregon U.S.A.	Looking to buy main bearings for a 68 440 and have run into some confusion as to what fits what year. Keep seeing will not fit 3.555/3.675 or will not fit 3.930 flange. I know that they changed the main flange size around 74, but which fits which?

Early, pre 1974 is smaller O.D. flange than the larger ones after 1973 Look at the casting date on your block to make sure what it is Last edited by Cab_Burge; 10/21/19 02:09 AM.
