I have a friend who had brain cancer I think 20 years ago. He is a big believer in God and faith. He has had tests that keep saying he is cancer free. I am a believer that most people get told they have XX time left that cancer takes them but there are nes that give the big old finger to cancer and say you are not taking me. Those are the ones that live on well past the xx time that was given them. Fight it out Stu you got it!

I am absolutely sick, and stunned by this news. Stu, has been a part of the site for as long as I can remember and someone who brought great joy to a lot of us. Stu, I’m going to pray as hard as I can for you, and hope you recover. Moparts and earth is a much better place with you staying right where you are...
Thinking of you!

Stu Although like others on here we have never met or interacted but reading your initial post moved me. Your candor and wit about your situation is remarkable and a sobering reminder of how fragile we truly are. Your post has inspired me to understand our tomorrows are limited. I wish I had something a fraction as inspirational as you about this but unfortunately I don't. Please know my thoughts are with you... Bill

That's terrible news. I don't post much, but still seems like I know you from reading the forum for so many years. I hope the doctor is wrong. If that isn't the case, I hope you catch a miracle. Everyone here appreciates you. Take care.

Stu! I met you only once a while back and only stop in here occasionally now. I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier. You have been a great man here and in your own wide sphere through many years. I try to live in such a way that I have a positive effect. You have been a role model that goes way beyond what I could hope to accomplish in word, deed and outlook. When faced with adversity, you have always remained true to yourself and worked hard to overcome. Your footsteps have always been seen on the high road. You have been a strong worker, husband, father and friend. You have given from the heart to so many here and in your life.
And now you say it's coming to an end.
I certainly agree with the other posts that express shock, dismay, positive thoughts and calls for you to fight this. I know you would even without our encouragement, because that is the kind of man you have embodied all these years. The kind of man that we have all grown to love, respect and admire.
If there is anything that is within my power to provide, do not hesitate to ask. This world would be a smaller, meaner place without your presence. Know that you are in my thoughts, and if one more voice raised in your name would tip the balance, I'll sing and shout until mute. Not merely for my own selfish desires to have you around, but as a beacon to others that can also be enriched by your example.

So just got back from the doctor place and along with he Chemo i got acue (?) pressure. It's a new thing they are trying on terminal ill patients to help the nausea and pain. We shall see how it goes. Stu By the way again thanks for all the good wishes as those really made my day. I will be here as long as i can answering garage door and opener questions so please if anyone needs help let me know as it gives me peace to know i can still help out. Cuck Fancer! Get up and kick its butt. You've never been a quitter and I don't expect you to start now. There's still a lot of screwing around that needs doing and I haven't been able to get out there and Boogie With Stu. You're not going anywhere till we say so. Oh, as for that picture you posted... I've seen better legs in a bucket of chicken. Love ya brother!

Wow, so sorry to hear. I've been on Moparts a long time and every time I have logged on you are always there offering advice and goofing with other members. I kind of consider you the "official Mr. Moparts". Take care my friend.

Am at a loss for words, or for anything beyond what has already been stated. Want to again thank you for the help and conversation at different times over the years. My thoughts are with you and family.

Man...... Here’s a bit of good times passed. Roughly 2006 Jimmy’s Old Car Picnic in Golden Gate park. You got up on the picnic table to make all around you aware of all the great things(food/drink/beer) that you were making available to all who came by your tent. Two turkeys deep frying and quite a few side dishes. I couldn’t believe this car show. Food....beers....fun....at a car show!?!? Not super responsible, but big time fun. Hung out for hours and was well fed. I’ll never forget it. A pic of me sucking the deep fried turkey out of my teeth. Made it to that show a few times and always had a great time hanging out Wishing you the best Stu....Sally...,and your girls....
