There is a long piece between the lower section of the rear body and the bumper that looks like a metal filler piece. AMD sells it. AMD 1970 Rear Challenber bumper fillerTwo questions: 1. Is this Body color or orhansol on an R/T 2. What type and size of screw holds it on? Any one have photos of their originals?

I remember them being spot-welded on. Not sure on the paint scheme though.

Screwed on. If I recall it was held on by several either #10 or #8 screws across the length. Painted body color. Again, mine was an R/T.

My old 70 Challenger vert was screwed on and body color but while we are on the subject, what about the T/A cars, was it black I assume?

Maybe all 71 R/T's were black. Here's a pick of Troy's T/A with a black filler. That strip is a 1970 only part. Any idea why the 71's and 72's didn't have it? I installed it on my 73 when I moved the bumpers in.
