After having a couple issues with the competitor........the one's with the yeller car , I switched to Summit for keeps. Or until they annoy me to the point of no return. But I don't see that happening any time soon. I had a gaffe two weeks ago.........I forgot to enter the discount code on my order. I had a similar issue with Jegs and they wanted me to essentially stand on one leg , spin counter clockwise and hop through flaming hoops. Combining the two orders I had in one day to up the discount would have been too complicated I guess. That wasn't even the last straw , but I am done with them now. Summit ? I was on hold for a few minutes , but they not only gave me the discount , but mailed me a very nice discount code that hit the mail box just before I was going to drop a chunk with them. Today , I receive the harness I need to replace my out dated one.........and the new one is due to expire next December. I don't expect the full two years , but I'd like to be closer that fourteen months. I called them up. They agreed. Do I want to return it , or have them pro rate it for the time I would be missing ? Well , I need it for Saturday , so I will install it and be refunded a percentage of the value. Their customer service has been rock solid. The prices are as good as any. But the intangibles will keep me coming back. I am certainly no big hitter , but I drop a few sheckels on car stuff every year. And all it takes to get it is to show me a modicum of appreciation. Customer service is a dying art it seems. I don't need a lot to keep me happy with any vendor. But showing me that you appreciate the business goes a long way.

Agreed, I've never had a anything but a positive experience with Summit. I just hope the "Death Star" aka Amazon doesn't kill them off along with evry other retailer. Amazon's prices and shipping are getting harder and harder to beat.

OI use Crow harness only now, and have for the last ten or so years I have them rebuild and recertify them when they go out of date. I have two sets and send the older set in for fixing first. They always come back with a tag that gives me from 3 to 4 months extra use I do have several sets other brands but I won't use them due to Simpson saying they won't rebuild and recertify their own belts any more

Well back in April I ordered the “house brand” 5 point harness from them Yella guys.... the start date was June of 19! ....so I basically got a harness for 2 years and 3 mos. If you would have called them and told them , I suspect they would have wanted additional money to cover the extra months. I don't know why , but I avoid the house brands. Maybe it's for the cooler stickers for my tool box. LOL

I agree, for a big outfit they strangely enough come through with reasons for me to keep on spending money with them.
BUT...you do need to watch out and sometimes have to hold them to account.
Case in point, I had ordered a set of SB King main bearings, after repeated delays and actually finding out from King that they had absolutely NO plans to do another run of these I called Summit, explained that THEY should be getting me that info as opposed to me calling their vendor to find out, and I cancelled the order.
OK, they refunded me the money...but b/c I used a discount code on my original order, and the return caused that total order$ to fall below what was needed for the discount to apply, they actually took a BIGGER chunk out...so my refund was smaller than what it should have been. Heck...I complained...c'mon man...but they did come through, and since I did order a set of SealedPower mains from them on another order they did issue me a FULL refund.
Still...had I not caught that I would have been shorted due to no fault of mine!

They covered a shipping problem for me by overnighting the parts I needed to the Hotel we were staying at on Drag Week. Zero Drama, I told them the problem, they agreed it was a problem and the parts were waiting on me at the hotel when we arrived.
