Just bought a non-running Dakota with a butchered harness (aftermarket alarm ) and while going over it, noticed there is no dipstick tube. PO had a JY engine installed then developed a no-start condition so he gave up on it.
Looks the same as the 5.9 in my Durango. RockAuto, AZ, etc. do not show one for a 2nd gen Dakota V8. Will a later model ('97-up) tube and stick work?
