Sportman racepak will not show rpm. It is new it's hooked to a msd 7a2 it show temps and ex but it won't show rpm. Am I missing something in the programming or what to look.for. checked wireing look good grounds good

I would contact the tech line for the race pak you bought

What is a MSD 3?

I have a basics 6al and my sportsman uses the same tach output as my auto meter tach.

It is a 7al2 it is hooked to the tach terminal on the box the regular teach is also hooked their and it works. Just fine. It has to be something I am missing will keep checking things

Racpak with the Datalink 2 program has to be the most out of date software platforms that is still being used in drag racing . It works but its a face palm when ever I have to use it . Working with the new EFI software engine management systems leaves the Datalink program in the stone age.

I do have the Racpak smartwire in my car now and it is a excellent unit, just not a big fan of the old software layout. However their tech line was excellent and was very helpful.
