i just bought a car and im having some engine issues,it has a 383 with edelbrock heads and comp 1621 roller rockers.,there are numerous issues but i did find a bent pushrod loose,on #6cyl,,I think the pushrods are too long, the adjusters can only be backed off 1/2 a turn in the rocker arm,or is this a non issue? so there are no threads showing, just the cup portion of the adjuster.pushrods appear to be 8 9/16 long (8.56)
engine specs are unknown but cam is bright purple and hydraulic flat tappet..

You can easily check for yourself, but I'm guessing that the oiling groove on the adjuster will still line up with the oiling hole in the rocker body well enough with the cup full up.

It is unlikely that the bent pushrod is due to the pushrod length. You likely have another problem.
