I need a battery for my 1970 Cuda with a 340 . What did they come with Group 24 or 27 and what was the CCA.
I cant find the info in the service manual. The one that was in he car was Group 25 and 500 CCA. That seams like it's low i'm thinking
it should be around 650 CCA

Group 24 was standard. I think 27 may have been standard for Hemis but I can't say for certain.
If you have the Track Sheet (aka Broadcast Sheet) it'll call out a code.
I don't think the CCA was all that great back in the day; FSM should list what it was but IIRC they were in the 500s.
For a non-restoration deal, I usually buy the most CCA I can get in a given Group.

You would need the broadcast sheet to know what type yours came with for sure.
