B1MAXX top fuel Joined: May 2005 Posts: 2,013 Apollo, PA.	On the one I had I noticed it first on the web at the cap, parallel with the stud. It came out of the tapped hole, to the side. Showed cap walk also.

racerx OP master Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 4,079 Mo.	Have anyone ever have one show crack right below were the piston skirt exit below the bore? It's very small but there is a crack.

If your talking were the tail of the skirts are, that area can get severely beat up when a rod is kicked but I have knocked any rough edges off and reused the block . So a small crack in that area wouldn't be a big deal to me, if its small enough you probably could remove it.

You said where the skirt comes out of the block that area is perpendicular to the web. Is the crack on the web side of the bore, or the skirt?
