Oh
Or, you can have this one with no wait. Saw this a few days ago; figured it was applicable to the conversation.

What was Nickens' verdict on the block? Did they need to fix any issues with it as it came from Bulldog?

Keith said it was F'ing heavy, LOL. No real serious issues, going together rather smoothly. Paul

Not too bad a price.
But bargains don't last long on marketplace , so if someone needs this , they might want to move quickly.

Finally finished assembling my 426 Hemi, Had to tear it back down to basic components and clear a major blockage in the oil system.
I cannot believe I missed that, But I did. No one to blame but myself.
It is together with all brand new name brand stuff.

A big shout out to Scott Smith for the awesome clone carburetors! Thank you! ,Paul

Care to share what the oil blockage problem was?

Looks fantastic. I'm sorry to hear of the trouble with it. What all happened there?

There was about 2 fluid oz's of iron swarf stuck in the main lifter galleys. Problem was revealed on a pre-oil check, no oil to the rocker arms.
Whoever was running the gun drill must not have had the oil pressure turned up high enough. Not an excuse, just my theory. I can't believe I was so stupid to miss that. I could have sworn that I shone a flashlight down each passage, apparently NOT. oh well, all is good now. Paul

Steel bristle bore brushes are your friend up
Never ASSUME anything on engine assembly tsk
I make sure and use them in every oil passage with cleaning solvent first and then air and again with either brake cleaner or carb cleaner, which ever one I have the most of in stock at that time and more air to insure no debris or any other gunk left in them scope
