I need a short list of parts to get my GTS 100% reliable for stress free driving. Can any of you folks steer me in the right direction for quality resto parts?
My list:
Battery Cables Glove Box Liner Upper dash pad (68 only?) Window crank handles (rear) Defroster vents
Other than that I will be hitting up the fall sale for everything to do the interior. I am really looking forward to getting this thing sanitized on the inside!

Dante's https://dantesparts.com/ABC Moparts is just starting to repop the 68 dash pad but Classic Industries says they have one now, but I haven't seen them personally.

Yep Dante is my first call. I was more referring to buy this brand battery cable because of xxxxx reason.
Thanks Jim! I figured we would be talking Darts with our new acquisition.

Should this car have a plastic radiator shroud?
Also, I would like to get some type of interlocking motor mount for the driver side. I assume you have a change of breaking the exhaust manifold if the engine moved more than an inch or so. It looks like the standard motor mount with a-body specific brackets?
I also will need to replace the battery tray. Goodmark, Sherman, AMD or find an original?
Thanks again for any insight!

Thanks again for any insight! Be careful on the re pop stuff you get, I just did a similar original patina 69, 340,4spd f8 dart like you are doing, most all I bought was complete scrap. All junk compared to the original stuff, the repop shroud is total garbage. Got it from classic, hopefully they are not all the same.....I'm super picky tho so? On a side note, it's the most epic car and fun ever, you will love it, I daily drive mine except in the rain and have put 9,500 miles of gear jamming fun on it in 1 yr.

Okay I will try to find an original battery tray. Luckily the most complicated part I need is the upper dash pad. If needed I can have the original recovered here in town. Thank you for the heads up on the shroud too. I looked at all of the trim parts and lenses very skeptically also.
Break out some pictures of that car!

I don’t want to ruin your post with my junk but since you asked. This thread is about Darts not me let it be seen! What a cool car. I like the tail strip with the dark green. We need to do a photo shoot with the two of them!

Okay, exhaust system time!
I have Accurate and TTI in my sights. My gut feeling is to go 2.5" H-pipe from TTI as it's a driver. The price is not that far off with shipping considered as Accurate is semi local.
What would you guys do? I don't plan on selling the car this one will be in my auction lol. I do plan on keeping it day 2 stock (ish) because that is how it spent it's life. An h-pipe would be cool : D

Just you're run of the mill big block A-Body! Bright blue, console 4-speed, buckets, stripes, tires, and so forth. I will give a detailed decode shortly...
