10.5 NA is a tough class to compete in. Will you be running at Summit and Indy?

Yes we will be in Norwalk and Indy. As for next year if the rules continue to go the way they have been this may be it for us back east.

Car is in Norwalk already where ill be doing plenty of work again to get ready for that race. Was just a long weekend. We had broke the pinion bearing on our second round loss to Rich Nye in Memphis so we had to fix that. When we got to Chicago we swapped that new center section in the car along with a new stator in the converter and carb back on after some changes to try and get our jetting down to a more sane tunable place. Well first pass out of the trailer we broke a brand new rear. THe new stator was as I expected a big move the WRONG way so we had work to do. We missed Q2 scrambling to get it ready, they ended up moving itup and hour also we missed it. Had they left the schedule alone we would have made it. Put the loosest stator we had in the car because our only other gear was a 4.88, we normally run a 5.14, so loose was the best choice. Carb was close Q1 but still lean so we made a few changes for Q3. Well the transbrake failed so rolled the beams. Did leg it out so we at least had some data to tune from for E1 Saturday night. Looking at the data we KNEW the gear was gonna kill us nbuit nothing we could do. Made some fuel curve adjustments and fixed the issue with the brake, wire connector issue no doubt from tranny coming in and out repeatedly. Took a swing at Rd 1 and come up a tad short, 2.7" to be exact.

Considering the gear is 10% less than needed we felt ok with the run. It certainly cost us MPH and looks like about .10 in ET as well. We also have a shock issue it appears. Slowest 60' in that car in probably 4 years on that run. So might have been 1/2 decent but might have don't matter. So parts got sent off yesterday and are getting fixed and ill be putting it back together for Norwalk and hopefully we have out ducks in a row. If you are there look us up. Only red vette in NA10.5 smile Ran into quite a few Mopar guys in Norwalk yesterday morning eating breakfast.

I am not good at setting up my car at that race. I have yet to make it out of round three at this event.

eek That's a rough weekend.
I probably won't get to Norwalk, but I'll look for you at Indy. Good luck!
