Did all E-body convertibles come with a space saver spare tire or just convertibles with the 15 inch tire option?

They were standard on all e body convertibles but I believe a full size spare was an option.

That would make sense. I just purchased a reproduction jack instruction decal for the trunk of my car and I noticed that the instructions showed a full size spare as well as a space saver spare for the convertible. I originally though all E-body verts only came with a space saver. Interesting that the space saver spare would be the same size spare tire if you had ordered 14s or 15s from the factory.

the 7.75-14 / F78-14 space saver spares were a compromise for a one-size-fits-all "temporary use" spare tire

the reproduction Goodyear Polyglas F70-14 tire shows a 26.45" dia. VS. the reproduction Polyglas GT E60-15 tire shows a 26.10" dia. (originals may be different & tire pressure will change this)
