I agree, those stiffener dimples on the rails don't look like MOPES.

Maybe you're right, but the OE pans I have in my basement don't seem to have so pronounced ends to their dimples. Maybe the shadowing in the pic is throwing me off.

edit, the lips seem to be wide too, no # on that pan?

I can't find a number. Laid it next to a 187, the steering notch is different and the sump is a little different shape but they are the same height. Most of our parts I know where they came from but this one is mystery.

Early A-Body 383 and 440 is an 893 pan, big letters on the bottom. Forwardlook just picked up a pan at Carlisle that is exactly the same. probably an early C-Body pan that can be used in an A-Body. I had the 893 pan reproduced by Vans Auto a couple years ago, they go for $200.
