Well, I got my new battery yesterday; the packaging is a little different, but the battery looks right and is fully charged, so I'm happy. Also, it cost me more, but that's life. Are you able to remove one of the caps or two and see what battery is inside there?

I have done 3 this way and they work great. Im trying to gut mie now. I sliced the bottom but the bottom is thick and the cells are almost impossible to get out. Talk about a bloody mess slicing the bottom off. Is there an easy way to gut these batteries. Its nasty.
