a guy from Tennessee did our belts. Turned out real nice. The # I have is 931-680-1167. Don't remember his name. Nice work and not $1000 like snake oil.

B/E & A Resto Parts has started offering reproduction seat belt kits. I haven't seen them in person but they have a good history of offering high quality items, sometimes at less than the cost of restoring them. They are listed in their online catalog.

Im guessing Mike is from B/E&A but who is the Bill that was mentioned?

That set posted by HemiTyme looks very nice.

Bill Edwards is the seat belt guy from Tennesee. His work is outstanding. I bought a 69 bench seat set from him. Looks just like the set HemiTyme showed. He sells sets all the time in the parts section here. Puts on new tags, I would highly recommend him. I think my set was around $600 without core, but don't remember exactly. Don't know what he would charge with a good core set given. Here is his info:

I just bought a set from Bill and they were well worth the money (about $550 with free shipping). The thing I like about them is they are original nice cores cleaned, painted and new webbing. Chrome is slightly different on each but original (not to shinny) with correct part numbers ect... Great guy and they come with all hardware as previously stated.

Hey all, big Bill here, from Tennessee. Just a quick note to extend my appreciation for your business, and put out the word that I'm always in the market for good clean cores and will most definately work with you on your cores when getting a new set. Also, we can restore your belts. You can order one belt, or an entire set. Here's my contact information.

I'd like to wholeheartedly recommend Bill also. He did the belts in my 69 Barracuda. No offense to the new replacements but I try to always reuse my parts or find other original Made in USA parts. It was built this way and as hard as it is, I try to keep it this way.

I think I may be giving Bill a call. I didn't want to spend 1K for Snakeoyl, so I was going to buy a repro set from B E/A, but if I can have my originals restored for a resonable price, then that's the way to go.

Bill did really right by me. Nice guy, fast service and a fair price. Nice set of repro belts for my 70 duster. Saved me a lot of hassles. I recommend.
