Aurora, Oh.
Are you serious? No shock on the passenger side and you never noticed it?

this truck always rides and handles like a dream, ive hauled a 10,000 # race trailer all over the south and never had a handleing issue.i did find a vidio on you tube of a lca change on a 04 and there was no shock on the pas side, unless he just left it out of the vid.

I believe it. My 04 2WD DRW has the original shocks on it at 314,000 miles. I thought about them for years but never changed them as the truck never gave me any signs that were jumping out. Until, I put new tires and brakes on it for the third time in it's life. It was obvious and I am putting new front shocks on it in the next day or two. The back shocks haven't shown up yet.

I put new KYB Mono Max shocks on my 01 last year.... very noticeable difference! I was actually at work wrenching on a similar truck to mine with some brand new Bilsteins on it.... got me thinking. Took it on a road test and got my “duh” moment.

So you like the Bilsteins better?

I went with the KYB. Seemed to have great reviews in the towing circles

I bought the KYB's as well. They are not the rubber boot ones. They are the "gas adjust". 2WD dually. The instruction sheet is like a big long comic book in 14 different languages. runaway
