Hi Fellas,
I'm looking for a product to clean aluminum intakes manifolds and cylinders heads grease. Maybe for cleaning carbonizing in heads also. Any tips?
Thanks

A mild phosphoric acid solution with dawn detergent, add a little MEK if its real grimy...

Most of the really good carbon cleaners have been obsoleted due to environmental concerns. One that does come to mind is GM Top Engine Cleaner, which I think a version still exists.
I think oven cleaner does a good job on intakes. Just be careful using it. Don't let it set too long or it could etch the material. Maybe try on a couple small spots.
Bead blasting works too.

Eagle or Mequiars cast aluminum wheel cleaner works very well on cast aluminum V.C. and intakes Let it sit and soak for a little while, DO NOT let it start to dry before rinsing though Rinse thoroughly
