I have a 63 fury that has a door closure problem, the passanger side works great, close it there is one click then 2 clicks and its closed, the drivers side on the other hand when you close it one click then 2 clicks then ister the second click it can be pushed in another 3/4 of an inch, not sure why its going past the 2 clicks,we adjusted in every way ,is the latch wore out?any one have any expertise in this latch stuff

You need to adjust part bolted onto the body, slide it back some scope wrench
That or the rubber seal may be worn out allowing the door to close more than originally scope

You may actually find the 1/4 panel striker is in to far. Sounds wierd I know . But if moving it in yields no result move it further out.

I can tell you've played that game before, eh! I second this motion, even though it just doesn't sound right.
