I have a Holley 4393 carb 1219 date for an A12. The metering plate has a Holley pn 34R 5113 B. Where the number should be on the plate has gouges like grind marks and is stamped 6178 which is the correct number for the carb. So my question for the gurus, is that Holley part number correct to be a real 6178 plate? I hope some one has an original unmolested 6178 plate or a Holley reference book so this can be verified.
Thanks, Rod

You missed the question. If you read my post I say I know 6178 is the correct number. This plate appears to be altered so the question is......is a 6178 plate Holley pn 34R 5113 B?
