Does indy make an intake that fits under a stock hood and compares to trickflow's? Or give me a good idea for a flat hood to cut besides the standard 6 pack scoop

The Indy 2D intake on my 440 won't fit under the stock hood of my '68 Road Runner. It's close, but no cigar. So you might try looking to see if there's a lower profile Indy intake.

As far as i know, the dual plane is the only one that will clear a stock hood on most 68-74 b bodies if thats the car you are asking about. How much horsepower and torque are you looking for? Because some guys on here , including myself with help from Dwayne Porter are making 600+ horsepower and 630+ ft lb torque with their dual plane. It can be pretty beastly with minimal mods. No experience with the trick flow to add anything.

Did you try a drop base air cleaner, or it didnt fit with that already. Strange, i have seen a few 68-70 chargers with the 2d a stock flat hoods. And my 73 charger rallye hood has the bulge in it, and i was able to run a 1” spacer with drop base and it just clears.

I didn't try a drop-base air cleaner. I had a six-pack hood handy (and I liked the look), so I went with that. As I said - it was pretty close without the drop-base air cleaner.
