Thanks Chris,I already have the set-up off the original engine.Besides I don't want you to have anything over my head.I know how you are Curt Jr just needs time to access what is important in life and respect what everyone does for him.He is a great kid,very smart but has not experinced enough of life to understand it.Like many 17 year olds that know everything already a lot of lifes surprizes await them.

ON A SERIOUS NOTE HERE, whos going in the 9's with a original crossram intake?
this has been brought up before and ive been yelled at by BG because i wanted to build a motor with a original crossram and go fast but says its going to choke it to death but im wondering whos going real fast with one? mine is only 10.37 @129.87

Gary,how about the engine specs and the rest of the combo.I'am assuming we are talking wedge. We have had a few mid and high 9 with a stock X-ram that was modified but never had any luck with a pure stock one on any engine over 500"

It was a 500 low deck with stage VI heads ported by modern. It had 13.5- comp. .700 lift cam(do not remember duration) 5500 converter,456 dana 002/003 springs. Car weighed 3200 with driver. Now that was the best. It would go 9.80 as an average. Jake

I have a 496 and with the EZ heads, 13-1 cr and a roller cam with a bone stock cross ram intake I got my 3250 lb car to a 9.99 in good air.

heres a u tube video of one of my ECNSSA members who runs a 63 plymouth belvedere with a 572 with a crossram and 286 max wedge heads. he went 10.13 last november 2008.hes in the left lane at atco.
he broke out on that run.

John Shaul has been in the 9.80's with his A/SA 64'Savoy..The motor is a 426+.070 for a total of 438cu.in. It has steel max wedge stageIII heads and the stock crossram and 3705 carters...

nope sorry chris, I dont no a ton about the car. Its a big inch aluminum indy motor (655 maybe, I could be wrong). Um he used to run in the CC events Big Dog class and went 8.50's with a tunnel ram BUT the car does have a indy crossram now. OPEL built the engine in it.... ummm dont really no much more other than Paul is a super nice guy and its a extremely nice ride.

Oh BTW I know there is a video of this car. I just have to find it, but when i do I will post it.

Pretty sure it is a original aluminum front end max wedge car...I think the tall scoop allowed the tunnel ram to fit when it had one. It is a two car team, they have a wagon to...It was in the 8's at Columbus last year.
