Congratations to you both. Thats totally awesome. Many memories and fun to create and enjoy. My wife cant race because the adrenaline is not good for her heart issues, but she does go with me and support me at the track when i go , which is just as fun. She will surpass that 100 mph mark in no time, unless you want to slow it down. She looks like a natural.

Very nice can't believe you got the car ready so soon. You've been working hard on it. What track were you at?

The couple who race together and have fun have it MADE ![grin grin](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/grin.gif) Congrats to both of you ![bow bow](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/bow.gif) My wife would drive my old M.W. stocker in the 1/8 mile but absolutely refused to drive it in the 1/4 mile, her reason was it was to fast in the 1/4 mile ![confused confused](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/confused.gif) It ran 7.25 at 95 MPH in the 1/8 and a little above 115.MPH in the 1/4 in the high 11s ![shruggy shruggy](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/shruggy.gif) No matter what I said she would not even think of driving that car in 1/4 ![shruggy shruggy](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/shruggy.gif) This was in the early 1970s when the tracks still had powder puff races, she won several of them but it wasn't enough to get her on fire, maybe that was for the better for me ![whistling whistling](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/whistling.gif)

That's awesome and that's a sweet Duster. Whats the combo if you don't mind me asking ? Ron UPDATE we went 1/4 mile racing this past weekend. She lost in the 3rd round of Pro Saturday! Sunday she lost 1st round on a break out. Car went 10.97!!! Combo is 440, Kieth black pistons on factory steel crank and rods. ProMaxx heads with stock rockers and push rods! Lunatti voodoo cam .533 / .513 Mopar M1 and a old school 750 double pumper. Shift kited 727 that still has kick down linkage and is shifting on its own! FTI 9.5" converter that flashes to about 4k. Ladder bar and coil over rear suspension with a 3.91 geared 8 3/4! 28 x 11.5 ET drags.
