Searching for a correct master cylinder for my September, 1969 built Cuda 440. It has its original manual drum setup: 11'' x 3" up front and 11"' x 2 1/2" at the rear. MBM brakes offers a new reproduction, but I know nothing about the company or their products. I think it is a Chinese casting. I have attached a picture of their model MC1323 with a 1 inch bore. It looks very similar to the original Bendix. Should I try to find a rebuildable core? Other options?

Thanks,
David

There are a million rebuildable cores out there of that MC - there are multiple part numbers that could be correct. It could say 2808577 or ANFF cast in the bottom. Also some had a wire for the cap instead of the bolt.

Bolt type for manual drum, challenge on old date coded M/C is the bore condition. Sleeving is an option if you really want OE original.

68 Charger
70 Cuda
