Getting reading to fire up the Bro's Hemi in the next cpl days. He has a new billet MSD dissy with 6AL box and MSD wires.

Issue with the wires is it leaves the top of the spark plug tubes bare which is kind of dumb if you as me.

Anyway, he also has a very minty (doesn't even look like it has been run) Mallory dual point distributor, complete with wires/ boots the whole shebang.

For initial start-up and casual running/ driving till we find solution for the bare tubes and take the time to cut wires to length ect ect, do you see an issue just running the Mallory for now?

Or is the MSD so much better that we should just get it in there now?

I would go ahead and set up the 6AL, then you can trigger the msd from just one set of points.

I don't care for the idea of open plug tubes either.
