Hi all,

My father passed last June. He left a 79 Red express. He was having problems with the am/fm CB radio. It was working fine then stopped. I pusher the mike for the cb and the meter goes up like it is trying to transmitt. When I turn the unit on I get a thunk nose from the speakers. I removed the unit from the dash checked all the connections, nothing. Any thoughts before I jack it up, take off the inner fender shield and check the antenna connect?

Thanks Jeff

You can remove the antenna from the top and look at it, no need to pull inner fender. Does the am/fm part work? If that works thinking it is connected.
