jml19621 OP enthusiast J Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 381 Rhode Island	Hi all, My father passed last June. He left a 79 Red express. He was having problems with the am/fm CB radio. It was working fine then stopped. I pusher the mike for the cb and the meter goes up like it is trying to transmitt. When I turn the unit on I get a thunk nose from the speakers. I removed the unit from the dash checked all the connections, nothing. Any thoughts before I jack it up, take off the inner fender shield and check the antenna connect? Thanks Jeff

4406bbl top fuel 4 Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,908 Nebraska	You can remove the antenna from the top and look at it, no need to pull inner fender. Does the am/fm part work? If that works thinking it is connected.
