Aren't there supposed to be some bumpers or stops on the outside corners of the bench seat frame on these?
They would keep the seat back from chafing the seat bottom.
I seem to recall some round black ones that screwed into the lower seat frame...
I can find them for 70-up & early A & B all over the web, but not one photo or listing of them for a 68-69 B-body.
If they actually exist, a photo would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

Doesn't have to be a Road Runner, any B-body with bench seats would be the same.
Gotta be one out there!

My '69 bench seat Road Runner may be missing what you are talking about but the catch pin is bare and it is attached to the seat base so it doesn't move, only the front seat back moves. The release lever is on the seat back on the back bottom side corner so it wouldn't hit anything either. The side or hinge is covered with a hockey stick shape plastic cover, you wouldn't happen to have a photo so I can help. My GTX is a bucket seat car and when I get a chance I'll take a look at that too.

Thanks; the seatback latch & cover & stuff is there and all good, it's just the bumper-thing on the bottom seat cushion at the rear outer corner I'm wondering about.
Just seems like there should be a bumperthere to keep the seat covers on the seatback & bottom cushion from chafing.
I'll post a photo of the area in a while.

Here's a photo of the area. You can see a black dot on the cushion where I think a bumper attaches.
Seats were re-done and they may have missed that.

Gonna bump this just in case somebody here has a '68 B-body with bench seats that can confirm this...
