I picked up a '74 Barracuda that was probably somebody's parts car and it is missing the deck lid torsion rod (bar).
I posted a want ad on moparts but then realized that my car only had one torsion rod from the factory and there is no provision for a second rod. Does anyone know if a single rod is the same as the same side dual rod? Or do I specifically need a torsion rod from a single rod cuda? Sorry I said rod so much...
Thanks!

The rods are different.

The single rod is thicker.

Are you ABSOLUTELY sure you have a single rod set up? When they started that in 71 the did not do it for the whole year.

Yes, single rod for sure, same as my 73 barracuda.
So I definitely need a single rod set up then correct?
