I remember seeing a few years back pics of drop tube center links. I had the info on my old computer that's dead. I think Bob's profab made them . I tried looking online but it looks like there site is no good anymore. Anyone know what I'm talking about.

Are you talking about a dropped center link bar or the bushings that were made to make it easy to drop the bar?

If it's the bushings those were made by MR2

I found this from Bobs Pro Fab from 2008 ...

"Mid May release date: On the extra oil pan clearance 4130 tubular drag links. This takes care of the diaper fitting issues with the stock drag links that are too close to the oil pans"

He showed pictures once , there were no pictures on what I had saved. I remember the center was custom bent tubing and the stock end were cut off and machined down to fit inside the tubing ,welded all the way around and plug welded on the sides ...

MANY years ago Herb McCandless cut the ends off the center link and spaced them further from the bar to gain clearance. Thinking it through I suspect he used two center links to make one. In fact, if you welded the spaced bar to the center link first and then cut out the old section you wouldn't even have to worry about any alignment or hole spacing issues.

This is the method we used to straighten the drag link, to get it through the Milodon pan. Didn't even have to reset the toe.
