A friend of mine turned me on to this car last week. It’s been in this area for 51 years, never saw it or even heard of it! A one owner, all original, survivor 1968 Dodge Charger R/T. It’s all numbers matching, all original paint, original vinyl top, original interior, original window sticker, Bill of sale, owners manual with certi-card, etc., etc.! Only the tires and service items have been replaced. The car has 71K miles on it and the owner meticulously kept all service records from day one. It’s a 440 Magnum with console auto, 3.23 suregrip, power steering, power disc brakes, rear defog, head rests, am radio with rear speaker, light package and chrome road wheels with redline tires. They are still out there!!!

Would a '68 have headrests? I thought they came out in 1969. Headrests were an option in most models in 1968. Some trim levels they were standard equipment or was required when ordering a reclining passenger seat. January 1969 headrests were required by law thanks to the Feds. So some early 1969 builds did not have headrests whereas later build ones came with headrests. Cheers.

Congrats on the awesome score! The Turbine Bronze was a popular color for 1968 and the new for 68 Charger was heavily advertized with that color
