Finally a HUSKER again
Im working on My dads old charger. Its an SE, Its got the rear defrost in the car, but Dad had cut the 68 style swith in the cluster, Iwant to put it in the correct location, I bought the switch, mounts, and wireing from Brad Harms, but the Dash frame has no hole up there for the switch. Can someone shed some light on this for me? Do I need to cut something? Is the frame wrong?

Any pics or help would be great guys!

Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure it's in the same location as the power top switch on a convertible scope hanging just left of the heater - A/C controls

Can't speak for 69 MY.

However, the 70 dash frame only had this provision if the car was ordered with it. From memory, pretty sure it is a round or oval shape hole that also has a small hole for switch to attach with screw.

Yes I see now that the Dash frame needs to be changed to be 100% correct. I might just either make a hole with my dremel, or stick it somewhere easier that I wont have to cut the dash frame. Dad obviously didnt have a dash frame for a rear defrost, or opted to not cut the dash or change the frame.
