Especially since you went all the way to Georgia, I can't believe you couldn't find better. Targa top maybe? I know it's too late but did you try https://www.autotempest.com/ ? Don't know what you were looking for originally (project or driver) but I saw a few on CL thru tempest that didn't look too bad body wise that were a heck of a lot closer than Georgia. Good luck.

[i] Ever see the outer skin of a roof blow off at speed? I have. Now that would be a sight to see! And yes I would not have much luck speaking Spanish. I picked the car up outside of Houston one time and wasn't sure if I took the wrong directions and was on the other side of the Border. V10

Jacked up as that roof is, if your tub is clean find another with usual lower rot and transplant entire roof. Much less labor cutting posts than panel, some holes in usual spot on donor. I know a couple if ya wanna make it pop top while yer at it. Didn't pay attention to location.

Some people would pay more for a Ramcharger with no roof (removable roof).

If ya gonna patch metal, choose where to patch it?
If not at all or minimal, buy clean tub, clean roof, weld together at posts. If willing to do roof skin or rear wheel houses, do top of bed sides with roof to covert hard top to pop top - with right donor.
Walked by one a couple days ago.
Instead of un bolting the clean top (ok usual corner) and running, cut it off at the upper mldg line or just below. Where ya'd cut off the rotted qtrs. Take windshield frame and you have the structure to graft on to at least late 80s.
Or just unbolt roof and use it to fix yours! Maybe $50 for the roof w/ hatch, maybe $50+ for a couple cuts. East PA.

Some people would pay more for a Ramcharger with no roof (removable roof). Im digging that idea but the time involved to weld on the removable top or fabricating some soft top is probably out of the question.. What ya think about a bigger sun roof? Find one with a bigger top hole and possibly that will make the inside mess mostly disappear... the undeside either way shouldnt matter too much i can cover that with headliner.

Keep the hard top shell, go with later jeep style retracting cloth roof or similar. Almost frame to frame so bigger than hack that's there. 2/3 roll back?
My tangent: I've seen 80s converted to pop top badly and it's ugly. Not the project here but it could be done right. Take the bed rails ya need.
