Hi all,

This is the bracket which runs from the bottom of the radiator support (under the radiator) to the hole on the front lip of the K-frame. Which end should face forward? I'm trying to put it back on the way it was when I took my car apart, but it doesn't seem correct to me. Unfortunately, I'm unable to find this bracket in either the 1971 Chassis or Body Manuals.

In the pic (of a 1970 bracket) below, it appears that the left end attaches to the Radiator Support, and the right end to the K-frame. Is that correct? Also, does the K-frame end attach on top of the K-frame lip, or from the bottom? Thanks for any hints.

Roger

Yes, the K frame end (round hole) uses a 1/4" U-nut. the extra long 1/4"x20 bolt goes thru from the bottom on this end.
