Trim it down to length, and/or increase springrate. Depending on the amount the car is lowered, you really want a snubber, simply to prevent the driveshaft from digging into the tunnel during heavy acceleration (and maybe some extra load in the back like people. Ask me how I know

I assume the SS springs have an arch while at rest? If so, I'd concentrate more on replacing/optimizing the leaf spring package and removing/reducing the lower blocks, before spending much time and effort on the snubber solution.

Floor pan will be shiny where it hits, assuming you drive it regular.

Well, I am used to 100k+ miles so it'll be shiny by then, lol. I don't think I ever actually measured clearances but that sound like what I remember.

I run a stock snubber. actually slightly raised up with a few washers and slightly longer bolts... my Challenger is lowered.. snubber does occassionaly hit (chalk marks on top of the rubber) but nothing serious to be concerned about for me.

Use the front segment of the leaf springs to control the pinion from rising towards the floor during launch and acceleration. A pinion snubber is a crutch for weak leaf springs.
Trim the rubber so there is no metal to metal contact. This will be a challenge on a lowered car but if it's still hitting you may need stronger springs and or shocks.

I take the off and never noticed any difference... the adjustable pinion type snubbers are so tall you can’t even drive the car with them on lowered springs
