Has anyone ever had their convertor rebuilt rather than just
buy a new one ? It would be understandable if you had a core
that was hard to come by.
I have a 12-inch 727 core, 130-tooth gear, that I could send to someone
if they could cut it open and clean/fix/upgrade whatever it needed.

There is a small shop in Rowlett, Texas that rebuilds converters. I took mine there and had it cut open thinking it was bad, but it wasn't. I bought a rebuilt and had many of my questions answered. The nickel tour was cool too.

For a stock 12" you don't need high-buck rebuilders.

If you are in Washington state, use Premier Torque Converters in Auburn WA.

Hello Gents,
It just so happens I am in Washington.
So, between ABC Transmission and Premier Torque Convertor,
hopefully I can get what I want.
Thanks much !
