I've got a 2013 Dart with 86,000 miles, it starts making a howling noise around 15 mph and gets louder the faster you go. I think it's coming front the front. What is the usual mileage that the hub bearings start to fail? Thanks.

I think you are right about the hub bearings. I had the same noise on my Ram and that was the issue. I don't know about Darts but I had to buy a complete hub assembly. No one sells just the bearings for Ram.

I just had a rear wheel bearing wear out on my 2014 Dart with 71,000 miles a month ago. Right at the worst time of the year to try to fix it myself in my driveway.
Fortunately it wasn't a very expensive job at the shop, 1.2 hours labor and a 119.00 hub assembly.

Don't rule out tires as the cause. I've got a couple really loud tires on my 16 Dart.
