Congrats. Sweet lookin' car. up
Wifes younger brother had a Volare RR, 318, 4 spd. that I used to give him grief about. Think I had my '69 RR at the time. Then I started seeing either a RR or R/T on my way to and from work. Black, Centerlines, and no stripes or decals. Then one day I drove by with the window down as he was leaving and it sounded very healthy. up Looked and sounded so good it made me want one. boogie

I, too have a soft spot for F bodies. They look especially good with big slicks! Nothing beats magazine ink for a car guy, congratulations!

Car has GREAT stance, runs good, color pops. What more could you ask for? Very well done!

Thanks everybody for the comments and congrats. For a National Magazine to put our old car in it feels really great. That is a shame about the green bird by the way.

So you kept the Aspen right ?? LOL
Actually I had an all original but rough 68 383 4 speed Runner that I sold to get a Enclosed trailer to haul my 77 around in many years ago.
At the end of the day it's about what everybody likes. Me I guess the rusting out and originally slow F body tripped my trigger.
