Congrats. Sweet lookin' car.  Wifes younger brother had a Volare RR, 318, 4 spd. that I used to give him grief about. Think I had my '69 RR at the time. Then I started seeing either a RR or R/T on my way to and from work. Black, Centerlines, and no stripes or decals. Then one day I drove by with the window down as he was leaving and it sounded very healthy. Looked and sounded so good it made me want one.  Tim

Thanks everybody for the comments and congrats. For a National Magazine to put our old car in it feels really great. That is a shame about the green bird by the way.

I, too have a soft spot for F bodies. They look especially good with big slicks! Nothing beats magazine ink for a car guy, congratulations!
Car has GREAT stance, runs good, color pops. What more could you ask for? Very well done! Thanks I haven't even seen that photo.

Nice car! i had a 78 Aspen RT t top car with the E58 for years was a great car! but it was that or my Charger at the time....

LOL Actually I had an all original but rough 68 383 4 speed Runner that I sold to get a Enclosed trailer to haul my 77 around in many years ago. At the end of the day it's about what everybody likes. Me I guess the rusting out and originally slow F body tripped my trigger.
