Made it into Mopar Muscle Mag !!!!

Hey guy's Tooting my own horn here a little, LOL Our 77 Road Runner made it into Aprils edition of Mopar Muscle. I don't have the mag yet but a couple of friends said it was a pretty cool article.

Just got my magazine yesterday. Very nice article. Great job!

Getting ink is always nice. nice job. I have soft spot for those cars. Owned a 76 Road Runner Super since 78.

Thanks guy's. Must say after 35 years we have owned the old bucket the past few years have seen quite a turn around in attitudes on the black sheep old F bodies.

I don't drive my 78 Aspen R/T much but it's a lot nicer to drive than any A body I have.

Hopefully these cars will start to get a stronger following as a lot of them have become rusted messes that returned to the earth!

Nice! I just read that article on Monday. My first car was a 72 Barracuda and the second was a 77 Aspen RT. The RT was somewhat unique in that it only had the body stripe (black with white stripe), not the louvers or spoiler. 318, 4 speed, and a moon roof. Fun car, wish I would have had room to keep it.

Thanks again everybody , It was funny how it all worked out. That day was a Mopar show and race. My old bucket went a 10.43 with a 100 shot of spray so I was really happy with that. The photo in the magazine is on engine alone. A good friend of mine we used to race with came up that day , so we got to hang out and make some passes. The guy from out of nowhere came walking up and said I want to put your car in a magazine. I was like sure you do ??? But here it is. LOL

Congrats! I had a 76 Aspen 2 door for a little while. It was black metallic with black interior, had buckets and console, rally wheels, 318/2. I enjoyed it.

Wifes younger brother had a Volare RR, 318, 4 spd. that I used to give him grief about. Think I had my '69 RR at the time. Then I started seeing either a RR or R/T on my way to and from work. Black, Centerlines, and no stripes or decals. Then one day I drove by with the window down as he was leaving and it sounded very healthy. Looked and sounded so good it made me want one.

I, too have a soft spot for F bodies. They look especially good with big slicks! Nothing beats magazine ink for a car guy, congratulations!

Car has GREAT stance, runs good, color pops. What more could you ask for? Very well done!

Nice car! i had a 78 Aspen RT t top car with the E58 for years was a great car! but it was that or my Charger at the time....

Actually I had an all original but rough 68 383 4 speed Runner that I sold to get a Enclosed trailer to haul my 77 around in many years ago.
At the end of the day it's about what everybody likes. Me I guess the rusting out and originally slow F body tripped my trigger.
