Need some help from you mopar guru's. Have 440 stroked to 505 with edelbrock stage 2 ported heads from Hughes engines flowing in the 320 range.I am also running msd programable 7 series box with msd high output coil. What is the best plug for my set-up ?

I've had good results with NKG's on my ed headed stroker. I choose the p/n based on CR from Mancini's web site.

Thanks dodgem. I am at 13.5 C/R; 0 decked, heads were milled to get the C/R and milled on intake side proportionally to line up properly. Am wandering if I should use 13 or 14 as C/R in choosing plug?

that's close but 57's are plenty cold either would likely work depending on the fuel?
but I used 59's with 11.7 to one and 94 octane sunoco and they worked great so you may want to go 57.

That's what I would go with 110 13.5 to 1 and an msd 7

I know this is an old thread but are the Accel 0416S plugs the same heat range as the Champion rc12yc?

Years ago when the Eddy's first came out I asked about this and the consensus was NGK's - bought them and love them.

My cr is 10.2. I use the plug recommended on the Mancini website for 10:1 with projected tip. The projected tip works well with my D dish pistons.

Here's a link:

i used the recomended champion plugs in my edy head 360 and the plug came apart and busted my piston and scared my cylinder wall.
a few guys said that the timing was advanced too far but i dont know. i havent messed with the timing in close to 10 years so i dont know how it would have changed.

I stirred this up mostly because I may need the shorter plug than the plug recommended by Eddy.

I run AutoLights and NGKs (depending) in my daily driver (boosted 80s Mopar) and like both of them. The Champions suck in that car. I had good luck with the Champions in the BB but am going with different headers this time and foresee some clearance issues.

Looks like I'll be okay with these plugs and these headers. Good thing based on the plethora of options/replies.
