This is a easy swap. As easy as it gets
Drivers side motor mount bracket is different 5.9 to 5.2
5.9 computer will run the 5.2, just need to be careful of what injectors you use. Flow rates in 93 for the 5.9 were 24 @ 39 psi, rates for the 5.2 were about 19 @39 psi and the latter should be your target. The Ford 19 lb/hr "yellow tops" worked well with my 5.2, but you may need to drop down a little.
The 93 5.9 ECM is very desirable and rare so dont mess it up
The 92-93 5.2 ECMs are very easy to find, though had capacitors fail causing a no start below 50 or so- still easy to fix
I still would keep a 5.9 in it- the 1998-2003 5.9 had a better cam and makes a diff compared to the 5.2- but if you have a cheap 5.2, nothing wrong with that What makes the 93 5.9 ECM special? What is different then the other OBD1 ECM's?
