Going off what is here I would say go with the flat as gloss will mirror lite off the back window into your rear view mirror. I have mechanical Aptitude. I can screw up anything.

GMP440 top fuel G Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,637 Florida	I sprayed the hardboard package tray for my 68 Coronet with Herb's interior paint. Came out really good. Very good paint. I used the 1968 dark green spray paint.
