Been thinking about a Holley Sniper kit for my mild 318. Seems there are available tanks for most other Mopars. Just wondering what the rest of you 66/67 or earlier b body guys are doing.

Been doing some reading. Kinda leaning toward an Edelbrock fuel sump. May not be the cheapest, but seems easy and reliable.

I looked at the edelbrock, but hated that it was made out of plastic.

You can get your tank modified for an internal pump if you can't find a tank for sale. There are a lot of EFI tanks available now so spend some time searching before you give up.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

I have a 1968 Dodge Coronet Station Wagon which shares the same gas tank as 66-67 B Body. I purchased a new one for a future change and when I decided to go EFI I had the tank modified with a TANKS kit that includes a Walbro pump. If you want to see photos PM an email address.

Thanks!

The plastic was a little of a long term concern. I hadn't seen the 034 Motorsport option. I like that. I'd forgotten about the RobbMc's as well. I meant to check it out, but hadn't. At first I liked the idea of the Holley Hydramat, but not cheap and it is the filter that eventually needs replaced at the same, or eventually higher, cost.

I would prefer an off the shelf baffled tank, but my tank is fairly new, and I haven't seen any for 67 back.

64Sportfury, I'll PM you later. Not sure I want to go that direction, but would like to see how it fits. If I were replacing my tank, I would be more likely to consider it. Seems like a good option.

I'll also look into the Amazon link.

if it wasn't clear, I was not as happy setting up the 034 motorsports one.
I would have used the robbmc's one if I had known before I bought the other.
it is less expensive since it comes with a pump and mine did not.

though it was nicer to setup in odd configurations vs some of the others that need a specific orientation.

It was just a pain getting the fittings in since there was nothing to hold on to.

Yeah. I was kinda skimming at first. Thought you were just upset with fittings. Went back and reread all the posts later. RobbMc unit is looking pretty good now.

Going to have to figure out a return line as well.
