Hi Folks I got 5.7 hemi that is misfiring on # 5 cylinder only at high rpms and cruises speed .
Its not the plugs ,coil pack or injector all new I even moved them all to #3 cylinder and still comes up #5. Compression is the same in all cylinders at 175 psi 90,000 miles on it any Ideas? I heard that it might be a lifter problem but there is no ticking. Kevin I'm far from an expert on these, but I do know the MDS lifters can be a bit problematic, but since you have no noise, I don't know. I hope someone chimes in soon with some help for you. You might try some of the LX forums. Some very knowledgeable people there when it comes to the 5.7's.
Facts are stubborn things.
