Did I get taken 30 years ago, when I bought 3 of these, for my V code 70 Charger? I was told ,back then they were factory original parts. Pretty sure I paid $100 a piece. Thoughts Anyone ??

You got taken back then, but the repos are more than that now. Just look on ebay for what they are going for now.I'll take one.

Yep you got taken 30 yrs ago, they're just FRAM replacements that retailed between $30-$50 dollars back then, but you'll be able to recoup, but your probably not going to see no more than $250 each if you Ebay them, quite a few of them out there to market against...

Ever seen a parts label like that? Seems like a lot of trouble to go through to fake a label?? So is this whole filter/box ,a fake?

Nobody said you bought a fake dude! just that you overpaid back in the day, probably dealer mark up if you bought them thru Chrysler, that's the same box and filter I could buy at my local Sears Automotive store back in the day...

Yea, you got took then for sure, I bought them by the case (I think 6) from a regional Jiffy Lube manager (Like 1986) and I think they were $13 or $18 a pop.

The problem is the screen. The round punched hole style are what people restoring cars pay up for. The cross hatch style bring a LOT less.

Yes, as Scott pointed out they have the wrong screen. They're not what people are restoring cars with.

One of those sure would look a LOT better in my car than the ugly ass K&N that is in there now.
