I bought a R3 421 cid shortblock from a member here 5-6 years ago. Been very happy with it. i'm in search for new main/rod bearings for it. Rod bearings are marked CB 745HN, and those are no problem. Main bearings are marked M5161 U 020 alecular pro series. Cant find anything with that.
All help appreciated!

Your main bearings are King products, that is King's marketing jargon for the composition of the part.

What size are the mains? 360, 340 or small block Ford?

looks to be ford. a quick measurement with a caliper, 2.23".
emailed king bearings, but he didnt know anything...

My block has the SBF mains, I use Clevite 77 MS590 HX bearings.

I either got mine from Summit or Patterson. Summit appears to have them with a ship date of today.
