Yes especialy if replacing them.I used it at work when replacing many.Mostly I just used my big hammer to pop them loose.Good smack or two on the knuckle usually breaks them loose.Rocky

I have zero air chisels, or air pickle forks and I have never had a problem separating a tapered stud using the hammer method. Whereas I have seen plenty of people f up a ball joint with a pickle fork, even a manual one.
