Where can I buy the metal cable strap that hooks to the front of the bucket seats, that takes slack out of the cable release that allows the seat to move fore/aft.

I don’t know what they are called, and are like “hens teeth” to try to find!

Any help locating TWO (2) would be GREAT!

Huh...Both of my Buckets on my GTX have one...telling me there is only one was not helpful...

They're "bucket seats" - why would only one have one and not both ?!?!?

I just made one for truck out of a piece welding rod.

Looks like the part that transfers motion from the lever (outboard) side to the inboard side. Ergo, one per bucket seat.
Lever ratio would seem to be the trick there, but shouldn't be too hard to fab something up, especially if someone knows the length of that lever.

I have used tie wire and simply twisted the wire each end. I have seen later 73? up seats that no longer use the connecting wire because the inner track is no longer notched into position. It freely slides. I guess the bean counters decided only one side with the mechanism was necessary.

To elaborate some, that is true for 1970 & early 1971 A, B & E body seats with the dual side locking tracks.

Other older models may differ.

Still need to know where to buy two of them...anyone???
