I just switched the t-bars, and had the car aligned. I'd like to crank them up some more. How far, if at all, can I turn them without affecting the alignment?

You can raise them an inch or so and not affect the alignment enough to notice.

My guess is that even if YOU won't notice...your tires will. Have it re-aligned.

I've been doing alignments for 10 yrs now and can assure you that the above statment is true.

When I do alignments on these babies I always make sure the customer/owner can hang around long enough to get the ride hight set before I adjust anything else.

Raising car will give it positive camber(top of tire will toe out). Not good for cornering.

Thanks guys- guess I wasted some bucks on the first alignment. But I had to switch the T-bars- the front end was so squatted that I could have plowed my driveway with it-
