My gas is e10, so should I use the alcohol kit to be safe? I don't see any options for the regulator kit, just one kit that doesn't say for one fuel or the other.

There is hardly a place in the US where you can buy fuel that DOESN'T contain 10% ethyl alcohol so I'd say use the gasoline kit. However if you are going to use methanol or E85 I'd opt for the alcohol kit. R.

I know that's enough ethanol to mess with older fuel systems left sitting around with it. What I don't know is if the fuel being passed through the pump can have an effect on the components too.

Anyone else got a thought on this? If there is no reason not to go with the alcohol kit even if my fuel is mostly gasoline, that's what I plan to get.
